I was wondering if there is any difference between the two.

I heard that ATAR will be a part of the VCE as of next year and that this year is the last of the ENTER.

Will the calculation be the same where the study scores add up the ENTER or will ATAR be different. Are we still going to get ranked across the state or will it be national?

Is there anything I should be worried or is it just a name change from ENTER to ATAR?

It's just a name change; the calculation is identical. Currently, we have ENTER in Victoria, UAI in NSW, TER is South Australia, etc., and they are all equivalent. So the various states decided to adopt a common name. Unfortunately, no state wanted to use the name from another state, so an entirely new name was adopted.
