Have you ever wondered what Merspi means?

A free prize (yet to be decided) for the first to work out where the name Merspi comes from!

Prize suggestions are welcome, but please add these as comments to this post -- since it's not an answer to the question!

When it is possible, I will set up a bounty for 200 reputation points. The correct (or best/closest) answer will be rewarded this bounty!

This event is also seen here:

Only questions here will be eligible for the reputation prize though :)

This ends in less than 24 hours! The bounty will be awarded to the answer that the team believes is the most accurate yet creative portrayal of Merspi.

Melbourne educational resource, student "AND" parents incorporated.

"AND" is an exclusion following the form similar to the use of initialism/abbreviation, eg: USA (United States "OF" America).

Wow! Very creative, haha. Monomer is from chemistry, what subject is SPI from? VCE is obviously on the mind here LOL :) – Collin Li Nov 9 at 3:10

Well, MER could be an abbreviation for "Mathematics and Education Reform" but spi, I don't really know. Could it be a shortening for 'inspiration' (a tenet of good entrepreneurship)?
