Does the term cloning only mean producing copies of organism that are genetically identical ARTIFICIALLY, or is just the afore mentioned definition but in all circumstances?

Bingo, it applies to all circumstances. Any form of asexual reproduction is cloning but I guess the most appropriate and common use of the word is when talking about artificial techniques used in biotechnology. |
