After I get my ENTER, there is a week called Change of Preference week. Can somebody explain what I can do during this time?

Is it important? What limitations are there?

During Change of Preference week, you can reallocate your preferences.

Limitations:

For some courses, this is futile, as they may have had critical events before this week begins. For example, Monash Medicine begins their interviews prior to this week, so it may be too late to include this preference in your list if you haven't already. Lots of art courses require folios for submission, which may be due before this date!

Change of Preference week is not important if:

  1. You have not changed your mind about what course you wish to do, and
  2. Your scores/circumstances give you a more than 0% chance of obtaining your preferences

If either are not true, then you should make the necessary adjustments to reflect your new tastes.

You should remove courses that you are absolutely certain you cannot make it into (don't be pessimistic, leave it on if you're unsure). Even if you're sure, you might as well keep it on unless you have other preferences you want to squeeze on your list of 12.
