Hello, I would like to study computer science which requires an enter of 78.

How hard will I have to work to get that, like how much study scores do I need?

Well it all depends on you. A 78 is easily achievable by anyone with just a bit of study. You can use this calculator to work out what scores you need.

Up to 38 is fairly achievable in most subjects but any higher gets much much harder due to the scores being on a bell curve. With over 40 being in the top 10% approx I think.

Hi there,

My name is Nicola and I work at Swinburne University in Melbourne.

We've recently introduced a Guaranteed Entry Scheme (GES) where you are offered a secure spot in an undergraduate degree when you enrol into a Swinburne diploma or advanced diploma course.

GES means that you don't need to worry about ATAR scores (hard to get your head around but it's true!) Your TAFE studies will act as credit, fast-tracking you into the later stages of a degree. This usually takes no longer than direct entry into university.

Just another way to think about it! All the details on GES are on the Swinburne website - www.swinburne.edu.au/ges

Hope this helps!
