The range of particular species is determined by tolerance limits. Beyond these limits death will occur. For the following habitats one has a probable limiting factor

A.Rainforest floor- water availability

B.Intertidal rock pool-low salinity

C.Inland desert- frequent rainfall

D.Deep freshwater pond- low oxygen levels

Unit 1 and 2 has been a while but option D seems like it is right, otherwise perhaps option B.

I would say D. Don't think there would be any problem with water in a rainforest, hence not A. Intertidal rock pools have high salinity due to evaporation of water, but not salt, hence not B. Certainly not C - deserts have low rainfall, not high rainfall
